Kathy Stanojevic
Dental Hygenist
Becoming a dental hygienist was a natural choice for me, driven by a lifelong fascination with teeth and a personal connection to oral health. When I was in high school, my mom was diagnosed with oral cancer, which she’s been battling for over 20 years. It was her dentist who discovered it, and I often wished I had been a dental professional then, so I could have recognized the signs and symptoms early on. Interestingly, when I was a little girl, I told my parents I wanted to be the Tooth Fairy when I grew up—and in a way, I’ve made that dream come true!
My mission is to provide the best possible care for my clients. I love discussing anything dental-related and educating clients about home care routines, various treatment options, and especially children’s dental care.
I have been a dental hygienist since 2009, primarily working in general practice. From 2017 to 2022, I owned and operated a mobile dental hygiene business. However, with a growing family, it became challenging to manage. Additionally, I travel to various offices throughout southern Ontario to sharpen dental hygiene instruments.
Family time is incredibly important to me. I have been married since 2012, and my husband and I have two wonderful children, a daughter and a son, who keep us busy. We also have a beloved dog named Max. In my free time, I enjoy crafting with my Cricut, cross-stitching, crocheting, and gardening. Recently, I’ve been getting into woodworking and tackling easy home repairs. I love learning new skills to be self-sufficient and creative.
